Spec me 3D!!

Don't really have a budget, I don't want the cheapest possible kit and neither do I want to pay more than I have to, just middle of the road bang for buck stuff.

Its unlikely I'll buy it all together anyway.

Nvidia 3d vision is not the same 3d that you get when watching a movie at the cinema in real3d.

for those your looking at those expensive Samsung 3d monitors.
 
Well with a bit of a lack of info I decided on a monitor by reviews, I went fot the LG W2363D

Set up was ok, had a few driver issues as in you dont need any now!! Just update your GPU driver off the Nvidia site, follow the stereoscopic 3D setup in the Nvidia control panel and you're done!

The GTX 260 copes well really, ive not benched it but ive not noticed a big drop in graphic qualities.

3D works in quite a few games really, some better than others but its a whole new experience in gaming! Just awesome!

Only issue ive found is the glasses are not very comfy with headphones on, they prevent the headphones sitting snug over the ears, ill get over it though.

All in all this is a really good upgrade option, you'll never look back!

Do you by chance have Flight Sim X? If so, how good is 3D with it?

If you can, try and get another 260 cheap as you will see a decent improvement :)
 
Dont have Flight Sim X and its not available on Steam either. Nvidia rate Flight Sim X - Microsoft excellent so id say its good!!

Its good in COD, Grid and LFD2, Duke Nukem looks awesome once you get into light spacious enviroments, looks dark in The Hive. Borderlands is also really good.

My 260 is under water so ideally id like a better card under water too, if I see a cheap 260 though I will have play and see how much improvement it makes.
