Spec me £450

That should all be compatible and I don't think I've missed anything. If I have, blame it on the early hour. :p

No idea if it'll max WoW or SC2, but I don't know if you're going to be able to get much better for the money.

Agree, for those games, the athlon x4 is the way to go, personally I'd try a cheaper psu like corsair cx430, should still be enough, and get better mobo

This spec or big waynes if you want a modular PSU. But imo the better motherboard is more useful since 430w is enough to power that system anyway.

and get better mobo
imo the better motherboard is more useful
Genuine question . . . why do you guys say this is a better mobo for the O.P?

Gigabyte GA-880GM-UD2H

£69.99 inc

Than this £21 cheaper model?

Asus M4A78LT-M 760G

£48.99 inc

personally I'd try a cheaper psu like corsair cx430, should still be enough

While I agree that 430watts should be enough power it does limit future options a little and the Corsair unit isn't modular . . . it also only has a single PCI-E 8 Pin Connector so won't power the GTX 460 unless an adapter is used?

Coolermaster Elite 335 Case - Black £32.99 (£28.08)
That is a really old and basic design, non "thermally improved" with the PSU sitting at the top and no roof blow holes? . . . there are plenty of better choices than this at around the same price point . . . . Case and PSU tend to last in a build the longest . . . even with £450 then is no need to scrimp so much that both these important parts get cut right down!

Pity this has run out of stock . . .

Coolermaster Elite 370

£32.99 inc

imho get a 500-600w psu (that ocz sx2 600), the 430w may do the job but limits any kind of future upgrades etc.

Actually my bad with that particular call, meant to put the other 880G UD2H board in which has much improved SB (850 vs 710) in addition to the obvious SATA 6Gbs and USB3, apologies to OP for that

To quote yourself Wayne, not accurately but I'm sure in the past you have belittled people for their use of a crystal ball to predict whats going to happen in the future no? How do you know that its going to limit future options? IMO it prob wont, as there seems to be a drive by manufacturers on all sides (CPU/GPU etc) to make things more efficient and reduce power draw so IMO it prob wont limit future options

No biggy in my book but fair point

I'll give you that one too, however I was trying to keep the build on budget with the case selection
