No need for monitor, keyboard, speakers etc, just the base system. It'll be for gaming and general computer usage, I'd like to overclock it aswell. I was thinking 8800GT and a e2180 - don't have a clue about anything else. Spec away. :)

Could try this

You seem to be pretty hefty at this speccing business - everything there is free.

Are the VX corsairs as reliable as the HX? I think I heard that they aren't made by seasonic like the HX. If I were to upgrade to quad core and Nvidia 9 series in the future, would the PSU power them? And is that case as good as say, the Lian Li PC-7? I really like the look of the lian li. :)

It'd be enough for a quad core now, but I can't say how it'd do with a 9800 since nobody knows how much power they'll require. An HX520 would be a good investment if you're looking toward the future.

Again, the case is good enough for this rig, but I can't predict the mysterious future. The PC-7 is an excellent case and is a slightly better cooler than this Zen. The Zen, however, is a tremendous value. No other case in its very low price range comes close in terms of quality and performance.
