Spec me - £600 build

Wont need anything but the tower and OS. This will be for gaming mostly.

If you can also show me a build with a 24 inch monitor too that would be great just to see how they compare.

If you prefer ati then you could add in a 5770/5830/5850.

ohhh
clever :D
didnt notice
£20 difference, that 20 could buy a freezer pro or the tranquillo, but you lose 2 years of warranty

I would seriously consider one of the power supplys specced here. The 500w one that comes with the case isn't exactly top quality so for the extra tenner or so I'd go for the BeQuiet or the OCZ.

Reviews for the case with the PSU:

Lovely case bundle, I built a CAD PC for a customer, with this, I7 920, 6gb DDR3, Asus P6T mobo, Nvidia Quadro FX 1800, SSD & HDD, DVDRW....works perfect & runs very quietly

Very nice case with easy usage. Perfect little bundle. PSU works quietly and effectively, powers my Quad core, 4 fans, 2 hdd's, GTX 460 talon attack, 2 disk drives and all my peripherals with ease! lovely stuff!

Not the most representative but it's still reassuring. Plus with that combo i'm literally bang on my budget.

Aye unless your budget is really tight it's worth spending slightly more, that PSU is unlikely to blow up and damage your components, however the tests show the efficiency and ripple isn't as good as on some other units.

It was just a suggestion since I only like having the best quality power supply I can afford these days. It should still do the job well. Have fun building it :).
