Spec me! - £600

Want the best gaming PC I can get for around £600. I have a monitor, windows 7 + peripherals, but need everything else including case/PSU etc.

Monitor is a 22" Syncmaster 225mw so would preferably like a GPU that handles the resolution, if possible.

Here.I've done some search and it looks like you monitor has a max res of 1680x1050 so the HD4890 will do a perfect job.

Yeah that would be a good option as well but....If he wants to Xfire with the i5 board he'll get x8-x8 and with the AM3 board x16-x16 and if he wants to go for 3xHD5770s the AM3 setup will offer him x16-x8-x8.You can get the HD5770 instead of the HD4890 if you want DX 11 but there still are a lot of DX 9 and 10 games out there and the HD4890 beats the HD5770 in those games.But if you want to xfire in near future (jan) the HD5770 is the card to get.
