Yes, max settings wont be an issue.

Just noticed the case is out of stock, try the Antec100 for a good alternative.

Stulid's build looks very good. My personal preference, however, would be to get a 24" monitor and drop down to a Radeon HD5850 to compensate. Would also go with a slightly better board such as the MSI P67A-G45 (out stock at the moment) which can do Crossfire.

When funds allow get yourself a decent headset and aftermarket cooler and overclock your CPU. A quality headset makes a huge amount of difference to your gaming experience and that cheap Creative one just won't cut it.

If its just a 3.5mm jack then it will work.

Made a change or two, everything is in stock, removed the headset.

Isnt the resolution of that 21.5" BenQ the same as a 24"?

Well yeah obviously he'd want a 1920x1080 or 1920x1200 screen, but gaming on a 24" screen is much better than on a 21.5" screen.

11.63% larger diagonal
24.61% larger area

When I said "compensate" implied that he could get the 5850 as it was a bit cheaper to try and include the larger monitor.:)

*having said that, now it is £124.99 it's not the greatest of deals as they've been as low as £100!

Total : £831.78 (includes shipping : £13.75).

Includes 24" screen. Can't recommend a specific gaming keyboard as don't have any personal experience with any of the ones in the store in the lower budget range. A 24" screen is well worth the investment over a 21.5" screen.

I wouldnt want to trust that PSU with such a system.

And the monitor being larger isnt the same as having more desktop space, the pixels are just bigger.

Yeah I know its the same number of pixels!;)

But just having the larger area for me personally makes gaming more enjoyable.

Also a monitor is generally something which won't be upgraded as often as other components in the system so make sense to go for one which will probably out live the majority of the PC.

Yeah agree the PSU is not the best, like the XFX or Antecs but it will be enough his system. The Elite is manufactured by the same OEMs as their Silent Pro M PSUs.

Find me a review of the Elite 500W? how do you know its any good?

The Elite is manufactured by the same OEMs as their Silent Pro M PSUs.

Really? sure about that?

This particular unit is manufactured by FSP,

http://www.hardwaresecrets.com/article/Cooler-Master-Elite-Power-350-W-Power-Supply-Review/1184
This particular model is manufactured by Solytech,

Seems like they use more OEM's than NATO is dropping bombs on Libya so the 500W version could be anyone.

And your over budget without a gaming keyboard.

I also fail to see how a GTX560ti twin frozr is any better than a 5870 - http://www.techpowerup.com/reviews/MSI/GTX_560_Twin_Frozr_II_OC/27.html

Read a review a little while ago from a German site. Will have look for it for you.

I know I'm over budget (as was your spec;)) but the OP did say he can go over £800 a little. I certainly consider the upgrade to a 24" monitor a worthy one.

Never said the 560Ti was better than the 5870?!

The 5870 is a fine card for the money and fairly evenly matched in benchmarks.

The MSI GTX560Ti runs cooler, consumes less power and is quieter. Not to mention the many reports of XFX RMA when compared to MSI. Just personal preference and giving the OP a choice but for £15 difference I'd take the MSI card. If the price goes back to £149.99 then the XFX is excellent value for money!
