Hello , im wanting a gaming rig .

£1.5k to spend " i already have monitor ect so just the system"

I will be building myself and am wanting to order the parts towards the end of this week.

p.s thanks for the replys to my previous thread , i think im going to build now and not wait for bulldoser

Guys what can i say , thanks for the replys and so fast too ..... :) , I already have a blue ray setup so that is not really a issue , also i was thinking of going along the lines of one of the above I7 builds as in the future i might do some editing / cad work .
Some exelent looking builds above , just got to choose :)

When running the gfx cards in crossfire do i need any extra connectors or are they supplied? also do they need any extra cooling?

It will be standard res , so it looks like the 6950s are the way to go . I will ditch that cooler and get the ram you suggested.

Could i save and just get the Thermalright Silver Arrow or would you say the water cooling kit is a necessity

Nope i wont be overclocking anything at the moment , im heading towards the crossfire 6950s if theres not much performance difference between them and the 570s , to say they is a £130 price gap
