Currently thinking of upgrading my current PC for a new one. Decided that this time around I would be interested in building my own. So my budget is around 1000 though I can go over by a hundred only. I would use this PC for gaming, game design and video editing.

Are you replacing the old one, or getting this alongside, and what are the specs of the old one?

If you can re-use some of the parts out of the old one (case, optical drive, maybe the hard drive so you can put more money into an SSD, or even the PSU, sound card etc) you can potentially save £100-300 and get a lot more for your £1000

Also, do you need monitory, operating system, keyboard and mouse?

I will be giving my current PC to a member of my family, so no parts can be reused. I will have a monitor, speaker, kyeboard, ect. :)

EDIT: I can provide the OS.

I don't know how much video editing you plan to do, so only you know whether it's worth spending the extra on an i7.
You can get a cheaper case and spend the saving on a better PSU. None of the PSU's I really wanted to pick were in stock, but this should do fine and will let you Xfire if you wanted to later.

You could just save £50 by getting a cheaper case. Shinobi would be fine with that GPU. Personally, I'd go for a Xigmatek Midgard II at the £50 mark as it has better airflow and internal features. Loads of options sub £100.
