I'm getting a TJ07 elsewhere and will be watercooling this, I'm not really after a bundle (willing to oc this myself)... I would ideally like to hit 4ghz with an i7 (or i5) and play plenty of games :P If you can come under budget then fine but I really do not want to hit in excess of 1k when I am purchasing water kit and the like elsewhere :)

You will easily hit 4Ghz with this combo, £80 over budget but it would be worth keeping the two 500GB drives and sticking them in RAID 0.

why such a big PSU?

you couldsave about £15 off that list by going for OEM of the same processor and save more money on mobo by going Asus SE edition rest is fine

don't know anything about raid so can't judge that but would find water cooling pointless unless your trying to do crazy overclocks, 4Ghz is easily achieved on air on an I7.

^^pritty much said and done.
Probably include mx paste in it and make the PSU modular since you are water cooling so its easier to assemble.

1337z0r's spec looks nice though i think i'd go for the 1TB F3. At a later date, you may want to upgrade to an SSD for O/S

actruly, for a overclokced system like mine water cooling would not only make my system run cooler, but also cooler as well.

however I do so agree why such a big power supply, its like buying a 911 for the school run

otherwise I do agree with the specs, why I m not going to even try

yes I do have a big powersupply :p not my fault through

what else do you need, powersupply unit/ basic stuff mobo, mem etc?

Yep pretty much everything except case really.

tbh if 4ghz can be achieved at a decent noise level on air then I am willing to opt for that to save a couple of quid...
