I’m after a nail gun as I’ve got a few projects coming up where it will come in very useful!

I have some Ryobi tools and obviously batteries and they seem to have just released one in the UK but it’s £399 tool only which seems at the higher end.

I’ve seen some offers for DeWalt ones with 2 batteries and a charger for around 300ish

Does anyone have any experience with what to get?

Yeah I've got the DeWalt one. It gets a lot of bad press but I think that's mostly tradies. The weight is fine for pro-diy (oxymoron) but as a trade id want something lower weight.

Do you know what model you have? It’s the DCN692 I’m looking at

I’ve got a dewalt one and love it.

I came from Bostitch pneumatic to DeWalt Brad nailer and what an improvement it is. The DeWalt is absolutely brilliant. A real game-changer. It gets everything right, it's a real top of it's class tool. It's also much more convenient than a pneumatic. I use the thing all the time now.

Now the bad news. I haven't used their first fix nail gun, but I believe they are not as good. Pneumatic first fix are better. The 692 is the old version of the 930. I would get the 930 if you can, it is better. A quick look and Amazon sell them. They are convenient, but not a pro tool.
