I've looked through all kinds of threads and it seems there isn't a single 22" monitor that really stands out from the others making this decision somewhat more difficult than it should be.
It will be for general use i.e. some gaming, web browsing, movies. I sit right in front of it so viewing angle isn't an issue and cost isn't a worry. I would get a 24" but due to desk limitations i can't get a monitor bigger than ~52cm, which immediately rules out the Hyundai W220D which seemed like a good contender. I'm happy to wait a while if there is a new model on the horizon which will fit my needs, otherwise it seems like it's down to these choices:
Viewsonic VX2260wm
Asus VH226H
Samsung SM2233BW
They all seem pretty similar, except the Asus and Viewsonic support 1920 * 1080 (which isn't a big concern for me anyway). Is there much difference between the samsung sm2233/2243/2253? I can't find much info on the samsung website
Any help is appreciated
