I recently "downgraded" from my samsung sm2433bw 24 inch, to a viewsonic vx2025wm 20 inch.

Reason being the samsung was too big on my desk and my speakers didnt have room. Anyway the quality of this viewsonic monitor has blown me away, there isnt a vertical viewing angle problem like the samsung, its much brighter and the colours just seem more vivid overall.

What I'd like is something slightly larger than the viewsonic that has the same level of quality, so a 22 inch I think is what Im after.

How much will I need to spend to get something that compares, will one of the tn led monitors be good enough? Ive been looking at the sub £200 22" range of led monitors, will one of these satisfy me would you think?

Thanks for looking

How about the VX2250WM? An excellent model if you want an LED-backlit monitor of similar quality.

10,000,000:1 contrast ratio?

I understand thats dynamic, but can I expect better contrast than other similarly priced monitors?

The contrast of that panel type is fairly similar across the board, with slight variation due to variable backlight leakage etc. etc. This also varies between different units of the same model type. The contrast of the VX2250WM I tested was very good for a monitor of the price with little excess bleedthrough. The main strengths of the monitor though was its good 'natural' colour reproduction which was particularly impressive for a monitor of that panel type and price.

Ok tbh it looks great and I have no quibbles about it.

If I end up going with another monitor it will simply be due to the design not being to my liking.

I have decided I would like something with height adjust.

As I have owned several monitors now and none have had this feature. So what monitor would you reccomend thats comparable to the vx2250wm that has height adjust?

Thanks
