spec me a 290 replacement please

Looking at replacing/swapping out my 290 for something from the Nvidia side of things , I'm thinking a 980 is the way to go but not sure ?

980 would be the better option but nVidia will release the TitanX (or at least more details) tomorrow. I'd wait and then make your choice. I'm not 100% sure but other cards may be announced!

RMA it and use the replacement card until something with a meaningful performance advantage comes out?

Or at least wait for these new AMD cards in May/June.

Thats something you will have to inquire about.

no point in replacing it now...unless the coil wine is to unbareble, wait a while for amd 300 or titan from nvidia
