Spec me a 37" screen

Hello chaps, i'm in need of a new tv and have decided that a 37 will fit the lounge best. I'm not too clued up on tvs, though have had a look around Tesco to get an idea of screen quality and the plasmas seem to have the better colours, but also had pixel burn on several which isn't too encouraging. Budget is up to £500 max.
Can anyone recommend a few to consider please?

Are there any particularly good samsung 37 inch in budget? I certainly do like samsung, both of my monitors are samsung and have been very good.

I found this one, how does it compare?

Also, i've noticed at this price point that there are far more lcd than plasma, are lcd better on the cheaper models?

Not in my house there isn't. Read a few horror stories about their 'famous' customer support.
