lite gaming and for uni work (computer studies)
could do with it a little cheaper.

Hey generally looks good, though really your RAM should be the 1.9V (AMD) rather than 1.65V (Intel) stuff, it'd probably be ok, but Id try and use the rated stuff. I'd change the case for the NZXT Beta Classic, couple quid more but much better.
If you want to save some money, you could go for an AM2+ mobo with DDR2 RAM, not going to effect performance too much and will save you about £30, other than that youre at barebones really without effecting performance

better?
I am happier with this price also. i will change the case also depends on person it is for.

ive never been much for amd dual cores since my last 5200+ OCed, but id imagine a later dual core wouldnt hurt :D

looks good now go getem!

I was goona head for a tri core as i just built a tri system for my girlfriend and that runs really well. but as funds go he needs a GFX card which cuts into having a better CPU.

i did recommend using intergrated for the time being but he is gonna wanna run CS and Guildwars and other thing at high end straight off.
