Spec me a 4k Blu-ray player

I want one that does dolby vision and HDR / 10.

It needs to play older Dvds and Blu-Rays upscaled as well please.

I have a LG GX TV with the GX sound bar.
 
I am confused about all this
  • No SACD or DVD-A support
So if I've read it right, of which I doubt I have, are SACDs a special type of CD that won't work in the player?

Yes, SACD is high bitrate and multichannel. If you want to play SACDs then you’ll be best off going Sony as I believe they all support it (being Sony tech and all). It’s always been pretty niche, but saying that I’ve still got about 5 SACDs (live 5.1 recordings of band performances) but nothing to play them on anymore.

If you don’t have any SACDs or not interested in them, don’t worry about it.

Ahhhh... It must have been a thing I've totally missed. So the DVD-A is the same kind of thing as well? Nope, no interest in either!

Please tell me the panasonic is worth the price...
