Spec me a 4k screen please

TBF most of those comments come from people who are jealous, never owned one, LCD zealots and stem from a time when OLED was new :D

Of course I can only speak from my experience of owning a B6, E7 and now a C9.

Modern OLEDs, well LG, have mitigations in place. Once you game on one there is no going back they are just stunning.

I've considered those B9 & C9's (didnt know they dipped to that) but when I look at the panel frequency they all say 100hz in the specs. Do you need a gfx card with HDMI 2.1 on it to get 120hz?

Yeah, it's almost well, I'll put my £900 for that IPS panel I was eyeing up towards one of these OLED and get OLED panel tech and high hz VRR. Only G-sync though I think so stuck with Nvidia cards only

Yep during Xmas and BF they dipped loads and the B9 keeps going up and down.

At the moment due to no HDMI 2.1 cards you can do 4K@60 or 1080/1440@120 and you have Gysnc, where did you get 100Hz from?

Dont know if anyone has tried AMD on these to see if VRR works?

I was looking on 'richer' website in the specs and panel frequency is 100hz.

Oh so these wont do 4k at anything more than 60hz? But they will do 120hz when 2.1HDMI gfx cards come out?

Yep all ports on the set are 2.1 but nothing to power them fully yet :( Next-gen consoles should also be 2.1.

Thanks but do these sets only do 4k @ 60hz? Will HDMI 2.1 gfx cards be able to do 4k@ 120hz? If they cant/or wont ever be able to do 4k @ 120hz then they arent of interest to me.
 
Spent the whole day umming and ahhing and bought the Acer XV273KP in the end. Sebm fiddy and extra 2 years warranty for £15. See if I get lucky with IPS glow.

Whats the difference between the K and the KP? Anyone know? I've did some googling but not come up with anything solid
