Spec Me A £500-£550 Gaming PC

You want the i5K really. Especially with a P series mobo, if you are buying an overclocking mobo makes sense to have an overclockabubble CPU

I would chose the zalman Z9 good budget case and cheaper than the one spec'd. I agree with RJC on the HDD. The lepa W series 600W is slightly cheaper too. I know it seems like im being a bit anal over prices but you need an extra £20ish for the K CPU. If you can trim costs elsewhere you can pump it into the CPU budget.

I will take your advice on board and adjust things. The pc is not for me, its for a friends friend and he asked my advice.

He wont plan on overclocking but would still like a fast pc. I must have picked a k processor by mistake.

that build wont disappoint my brother basically has a mix of the two baskets in his build xD and it is flawless!

He will never overclock though so im not sure the benefit of him getting a k series processor.
