They'd probably take it back and flash it and return it, but the delivery costs may make it easier just to get an Ivy Bridge board instead.

These Z68 motherboards could come with any BIOS version, the rev 2.0 boards aren't guaranteed since the first two BIOS releases don't support Sandy bridge CPUs.

Sorry your having problems, according to many threads on here those mobo were meant to already have the IB Bios. Give OCUK a ring and see if they can help in my opinion.

Thanks, I bought a new mobo for him yesterday and it arrived this morning, it's all up and running now, very nicely I may add. Thanks for all you guys help, wasn't blaming you for this as evidently it's pot luck with that mobo(I guess at that price tag you can't ask for too much ) Went with a more expensive one in the end.
