May not be the most lightweight but it's fast and fits the rest of your requirements: Dell Inspiron 15 5000 - can be had online relatively cheap for what it is.

15.6"
i5-7200u
8GB DDR4 RAM
256GB SSD
R7 4GB GPU
Windows 10

will look, does look a good laptop. £500 doesnt get you much these days :(

With used/refurbished machines, you can get something decent for that much if you're lucky.

I snagged a Dell Latitude 7370 (refurbished) a while ago for a bit over £500, even with Core M CPU, it's plenty fast for my needs (browsing, coding, pretty much). And because it's a machine from Dell's business line up, I get decent warranty on it too.

my wife just bought a HP bs162 sa from a high street retailer its not got the ssd you want but it does have a i5-8250U which is a quad core with hyper threading and she got that for 399 so in theory you could go buy this https://www.overclockers.co.uk/sams...olid-state-drive-mz-76e250b-eu-hd-232-sa.html and swap out the drives and still have a few pennies to spare plus a spare 1tb hdd

oh should mention it states 1.6ghz on the cpu but I've seen it turbo upto 3.4ghz
also to add I used cpu-z to just do a quick benchmark basically it is as fast as my 3770k in my desktop pc in that benchmark in both single and multi threaded tests
