Hi all,

Looking for the best 55" TV under £700. Seen so many from £300 - £3,000. All I know is I watch movies, have a Sonos Arc and Ones in Surround and play a PS5 occasionally. I use Sky Streaming Pucks with UHD and Netflix, etc. The TV will be on a stand in the corner of our Lounge.

Thanks,

Shep.

bagged myself a tcl 55p8k 144hz under 500, generally for games, odd tv watching, love the thing, though annoyances like keeps warning me when changing picture preset due to efficiency but for the money a bargain

LG B42LA for £650

The above is tough to beat.

Depending on your time of viewing/angles/room brightness you might be better off with a FALD LED display but I doubt it, is the 55" thing a price concern or do you simply not have the size for a larger screen?
I have just moved into a lovely Victorian Semi which has many original features. Whilst the lounge is large, a TV dominating the room wouldn't be inkeeping with the rest of the decor. Therefore, I've bought a tripod for the corner and believe a 48- 55" would be the maximum size.

Victorians didn't have TV, washing machines, vacuum cleaners, laptops, gaming PC's, fridges, freezers, in door plumbing, motor vehicles, internet, sky TV, mobile phones, wifi, running hot and cold water.

:D

That's more than fair tbh.

One of the LG OLED's would be my choice, either the one linked above from Richer Sounds for the six year warranty or a C4 using the generously offered discount code from @Simmz.
