Spec me a £650 BF3 PC

My friend wants to build a new PC for BF3 (and other games).
His budget is £650.
Here's the spec he is looking at getting :

Gigabyte GA-Z68X-UD3H-B3 £104
INTEL CORE I5-2500K £133.48
8GB 1600MHz DDR3 XMP HyperX Blu £42.36
eVGA GeForce GTX 560 Ti FPB £146
WD Caviar Black 1 TB HDD £55
ASUS DRW 24B3ST - DVD±RW (Optical Drive) £16
Cooler Master HAF 922 £63
Corsair Enthusiast Series TX750 V2 Power supply 750W £75
Total price = £634

He doesn't need a CPU cooler as that'll be purchased elsewhere.

Looks good to me!

Will last a long time.

2 things I could say is the GPU and RAM.

Maybe get a 6950 rather than the GTX560Ti. Little faster, but is £54 more.

And the Memory is ok, but I'd go for the Corsair Vengence 8GB kit. Better brand and better heat sinks on them: http://bit.ly/q1IkGd

Everything else looks good to me.

Some of those prices are ridiculously low. Are you sure they're not pre-VAT ?

Looks like a good build though

That's what I thought. A superclocked 560ti for £146

PSU is overkill save some monies and put towars the GPU.

It is true what PapLazaru is saying. 750W for a 560 is a bit much.

I have a 700w just for my hd5770 bit I got that because one, it was on offer and two, I am upgrading, so I will need the power for my upgrades.

PSU OK for SLI. Looks amazing for the price. Caviar Black is good but too expensive compared to Samsung F3.
