Hi guys, I wanted to pull the trigger on an Arctic Accelero Twin Turbo II VGA Cooler but OcUK is out of stock. Anyway, I am not sure if I want this cooler as I just read it takes up 3 bays and I need to save as much room as possible (SLI in my system).

Anybody have any good coolers they can recommend or even should I just buy new Akasa tape and reseat the reference cooler. Temps were good before but even before SLI, they were going up.

Re applying the paste will not do enough when it comes too sli, i suggest getting the twin for both if you can mange it or you could get a twin for the bottom one and the Accelero Hybrid for the top one? ( and yes i know its very expensive)

I have the Lightning as my second 680 and temps are sweet with this (twin frozr cooler) I have never reseated a cooler but would prefer something that will not take up too much room (better to keep good distances between the cards and PSU.

Just sell it and get another lightning

lol. Wasn't my plan tbh and not worth the loss. I have been looking at the Arctic Cooling - Accelero Xtreme III. Just need to make sure it is good for a reference 680 and I will pull the trigger.

OcUK have none in stock of any decent VGA cooler. :(

Cheers guys. I have just replaced my TIM with some IC Diamond. When I took the cover off, the heatsink was fairly blocked TBH, so new paste and cleaned cooler should help. I will report back on temps.

Temps are good again :) Idle temps on the EVGA are now 33C with 30% fan (previously 40C with ~40% fan). It takes a couple of days for the IC Diamond to bed in and it should lower temps a little further.
