Right that's my budget and I need the whole shabang!

The case, monitor keyboard (no mouse), OS, sound card, speakers and a network card aswell as I won't be able to connect through the modem with a wire!

Will be used mainly for gaming and designing!

Overclocking may be an option of the future!

Green neons are also needed :P

This is a starter for you, just add your keyboard/mouse and network card - it'll tip you slightly over the 900 but its a solid system

edit: Your other option would be to get a system such as the vulcan here and add the bits you need

Obviously the more expensive option is going to be the better PC, especially for gaming. You can mix n match from the 2 specs to have something in the middle, i.e. swap the 4830 for the 4850, speakers, case, PSU etc.

Sawweeeeeeet. Thank you!

Would it be worth investing in 2 1024mb 4870's?

Another thing is the case, I could save up for a better one but what one would be the best for the setups above and have abit of extra space for when I feel the need to upgrade more?

Thank you.

Also if you could point me to anything that has a guide to building PC's that would be great :D

As this would be my first ever build.

Just google it, theres loads, or go to youtube and search there
but its nothing to worry about, its really quite simple, just remember to take your time
