Spec me a 7ft desk

I need a 7ft wide desk, in new money at least 2000mm but I just can't find one anywhere, I've searched all over the net. I need a back panel so I can hide my wires while I rest a Shuttle XPC, two Dell 2407 monitor on top with a 360 and B&W 602 S1 speakers. It needs to be that wide so I can get two pedestals under at each end with my legs swinging about in the middle.

The widest desks I can find on the net go to 1800mm.

Help this is life threatning

Use a old wooden bedroom door, job done. Flat and strong.

Don't think you'll be able to get a desk over 1800mm in width without buying 2 and putting them next to each other.

This is probably to small but the morgan beech range is incredibly sturdy and you could always put 2 together with a few brackets underneath if needed.

I got a huuuuge desk from ikea - and it was £26.

Because it's a table, not a desk, but still.. works perfect for me

Making one is the way to go. Most likely you won't be happy with it otherwise, unless you are just naturally crap at screwing things, then the desk is the least of your worries.
