Spec Me A £850ish Laptop!

I have just sold off my PC Rig recently as it was basically just gathering dust and i was just using my Macbook for Interweb stuff and downloads.....Thing is, there's some features i still need PC wise and my Macbook lacks a DVD Writer....I don't want to have external stuff plugged in to the Macbook either....Defeats the purpose of being mobile

With all this in mind, the Macbook will have to go and i ain't forking out £1200 for a Macbook Pro!

So i'm willing to spend around £850ish.....A gaming laptop is not essential, i have a 360,PS3 and Wii for all that jazz....Most i'll play on it is probably FM08, so a good CPU will be needed.

I like the look of the Sony VAIO AR51E, nice styling but i dunno if your just paying for the name?

Some other peoples idea would be cool!

no need to spend anywhere near £850 if you're saying you just want to surf and burn dvds and games are no biggy! you could get a dual-core with a 200gb laptop for about £500 if you look around i recon!
