spec me a £900 gaming rig plz!

I'd be very grateful if someone could recommend a system for £900 on everything but the monitor, keyboard, mouse and speakers (have thses!) as my shuttle is starting to struggle these days. Speed over storage plz

thx guys; some way very nice ideas there. Would it be worth getting an crossfire mobo so I can slot in another X1900 card (think I'll be going for that) for a quick performance boost in a years time to tide me over? Which would you recomend?
