Spec me a amd and intel system for gaming?

I would like to build my first pc and cant decide between a AMD or Intel gaming machine. I have a budget of maximum £600 and would like you to include windows 7 but no hard drives as i already have hard drives. I was thinking a sapphire 7850, and a i5 3570k or 8350, but i'd like to see you opinions. I just want the computer by the way no monitor or any peripherals. I'd also like to see what cases you recommend and what motherboards that are good for overclocking and maybe a good cooler if it's still in the price range. Thanks!
