Spec me a bag

What carry style are you after?

I use a flipside sport 15L most of the time if I'm only taking bare minimum kit

The padded area is not the biggest but there's a separate part for general stuff, sunglasses, rain coat, snacks , etc and 2 elastic bits on the outside for bottles and also a document and tablet pouch

I find it ideal for walking around and if I need more kit I take it's bigger brother the 20l which is mainly just for camera gear so plenty of room

Thanks for the responses, really like the look of the flipside sport 10/15, plus I can stick my camelbak in which is nice.
Just need to decide to get the 10 or 15

I said the wrong bag I have, mine is the photo hatchback 16L http://store.lowepro.com/photo-hatchback-16l-aw , and my larger bag is the flipside sport

The layout in both bags is very different as the hatchback has a photo compartment and another one for general items

Check the size of your lens, I can fit a d800 with 24-120 attached in it but that's kinda the limit, possibly get a little more at a squeeze

Which lens do you have, is it the vrii ?

If so then it's slightly smaller than the 24-120 so should have no problem fitting in the camera compartment of the 16 hatchback,

That's a nice bag also, I like the idea of it working as a normal bag.
I ended up buying the flipside sport 15 anyway, after reading some reviews it seems to fit the bill for me (and compared to the 10L gives me room to expand to a 300mm lens also).

that's one of the reasons I got the 20L , I can keep 70-200 with extender attached to the camera and still have room for other bits and bobs and it feels more secure when travelling having the opening against my back

I need to see one in the flesh. I've been very tempted but can't decide which one and will end up getting the biggest one which I'll then never use as it'll be too big.

I went for the Retrospective 7, should be big enough without being too big.

I've got a Tamrac 12 that just about holds all my kit.

But If I'm going for a walkabout in London next month I could do with something that would hold my camera with a 24-70 and my UWA. Think that'll prob cover it whilst I'm out and about. Plus a bottle of water etc
