Spec me a base unit?

Hi all

A friend of mine is looking to upgrade his base unit and has around £400 to spend.

I haven't really been into hardware for a while now so I thought I would see what people were buying these days.

He wants to be able to play NWN2 and is looking for a spec that should play Warhammer Online when it is released so he basically wants the best gaming rig he can get for his money.

His only proviso is that he doesn't want an ATI graphics card but other than that go for it.

Does he just need a base unit? Even if that is all the budget is rather tight to get a system that will be good for gaming. This may be suitable but it is a bit of a compromise in all areas to get anywhere near the budget.
