Spec me a broadband connection please

Hi All,

A friend of mine needs a broadband connection. As she puts it, "shopping / facebook / browsing... im not bothered about downloading stuff really".

As I shake my head at the technical inaccuracies of saying that don't want to download stuff (when that and uploading is all broadband does ) I realise I'm not sure which ISP to recommend.

The details are:- cheap, compatible with rental accommodation (I assume therefore ADSL), download limits are fine, e-mail not necessary, webspace not necessary, reliability, good customer service, a free wireless router would be nice as it will mostly be used with a laptop.

Any thoughts?

NTL are good with rental places unless you have an active phone line but im not sure if they give out routers
