As title really. Im moving into a new flat soon and looking to get the internet sorted asap but there so many ISP that my head is spinning.

Anyone tell me which companies provide the best speeds without capping download speeds and having download limits?

Also if its cheap then thats an absolute bonus ;)

Im thinking Virgin is my best bet as im pretty sure the previous owner of the flat had it so it should be up and running sharpish and they have a pretty decent deal on atm - 30mb with phone for £14 for 3 months then £32 after that.

So basically ive gone through the bundle I wanted which is XL 30mb Broadband and M Phone.

After all the discounts via the site it comes to £13.90 for the first 3 months then £32.40 after that.

So overall with the addition £61.75 cashback does that mean it will work out at £22.63 a month after all discounts and cashback?

The threads on the VM forums are quite old though and Virgin Technicians said "this will get fixed soon" and then the thread basically dies off with no final result.

Surely the odd person will have issues so unless there is some way I can find if that area is slow then im never going to know for sure am I?

I know that the previous owner of the flat was with Virgin so hence why I would like to just carry it on with them.

Hmm ive been interested in Sky but it saying for the 20mb unlimted package I will only get an Estimated Access Line Speed: 2.0Mbps - 12.2Mbps
