Hey guys,
unfortunatley my mobo/psu has done the dance of death(I wil lbe looknig to fix it up at a later date, not an option for now due to time and work commitments). So I am looking to build a Strong gaming machine, I'll be using my existing monitor ( 24" Benq 1080 144hz), at least initially. But may look to get a 4k monitor in future.
SO I am looknig for: -
SSD (size/Speed - guessing Samsung Evo here?)
hdd large and speedy
best bang for buck performance cpu + mobo + ram combo (are i7's worth it or i5's fine?). capable overclocking capabilities are a must ofc.
Good cooling - not sure if Water cooling is where i want to go unless its a closed loop systems that rquire no real maintenance/monitoring.
Graphics Card ( I am assuming here is where the big money will go - I am open to a 1080 variant but are they worth it? what are the new ATI offerings like?)
I certainly don't want to drop stupid money on a component that is jsut not worth the upgrade for the price over a similarly powerful piece that's cheaper, hence asking for some advice
Thanks all in advanced for your responses
