Hi guys, just wondering if you could spec me a gaming build for £550-£650? I already have monitor peripherals etc as well as a 1TB hard drive and windows, so I just need the main componenets and a case. I was thinking maybe a 2500k and an MSI TFII 560 Ti

For £650 I'd be looking @:
YOUR BASKET
1 x MSI GeForce GTX 560Ti Twin FrozR II 1024MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card £173.99
1 x Intel Core i5-2500K 3.30GHz (Sandybridge) Socket LGA1155 Processor - Retail £169.99
1 x MSI P67A-GD53 Intel P67 (Socket 1155) DDR3 Motherboard ** B3 REVISION ** £107.99
1 x Antec TruePower New Modular 750W '80 Plus Bronze' Power Supply £85.99
1 x BitFenix Shinobi Gaming Case - Black £49.99
1 x Gelid Tranquillo CPU Cooler (Socket 754/939/940/AM2/AM2+/AM3/LGA775/LGA1155/LGA1156/LGA1366) £25.99
1 x Corsair XMS3 4GB (2x2GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C9 1600MHz Dual Channel Kit (CMX4GX3M2A1600C9) £23.99
Total : £652.93 (includes shipping : £12.50).

Motherboard and PSU are both capable of taking another graphics card down the line if you need more umph and the cooler is more than enough for a decent 4.4Ghz clock 24/7.

heres what i'd go with:

YOUR BASKET
1 x MSI GeForce GTX 560Ti Twin FrozR II 1024MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card £173.99
1 x Intel Core i5-2500K 3.30GHz (Sandybridge) Socket LGA1155 Processor - Retail £169.99
1 x MSI Z68A-GD65-G3 Intel Z68 (Socket 1155) DDR3 Motherboard £159.98
1 x Antec TruePower New Modular 650W '80 Plus Bronze' Power Supply £67.98
1 x BitFenix Merc Alpha Gaming Case - Black £32.99
1 x Corsair XMS3 4GB (2x2GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C9 1600MHz Dual Channel Kit (CMX4GX3M2A1600C9) £23.99
1 x Samsung SH-S222AL/BEBE 22x DVD±RW SATA Lightscribe ReWriter (Black) - OEM £15.98
Total : £659.90 (includes shipping : £12.50).

its not something i'd usually recommend, but i figured a really good motherboard with plenty of upgrade options (ivybridge and PCIe V3 compatable) and a stock cooler would be a better combination than a mediocre motherboard and a good cooler, because upgrading the cooler is really cheap and easy, upgrading the motherboard is a pain in the bum ad really expensive.
also, you can still get a reasonable overclock on the stock cooler (~4Ghz)

the PSU is more than adequate to run two of these cards in SLI
