Okies, its been awhile since i upgraded my system, going on near 3 years now, and im kinda outta touch with whats good and whats not etc etc, i know there is an entire new tier of CPU's and GPU's etc out there,
My system is used for gaming, everything from MMO threw to FPS,
So instead of trying to wade threw everything out there and work out what works with what and what doesn't, im gonna ask you guys who are more then likely a lot more up-to-date than me.
My price range is £1200-1500
I was looking at an SSD for primary boot, and use a standard 7200RPM disc for the main system, but is it really worth it.
CPU, im looking towards intel if poss
GPU, Nvidia, ive always used Nvidia, its a personal preference.
The new system will be running Windows 7 64bit.
I do have a current 1Kw PSU ( PC Power and Cooling ) the current system will be given to family to use, so i could always keep this PSU, or it maybe cheaper to replace it,
My only concern is monitor, now i haven't allowed for this in my pricing, as it will be separate, but i see these 120Hz monitors seems to have reports of no ghosting from faster moving games, the monitor wont be used for 3D ( as i cannot use 3D due to eyesight problems ) can the monitor run in 120Hz mode all the time to stop ghosting, if so whats the best one to go with?
Thanks
