Spec me a build

Hey guys im looking to bulid a pc for gaming, general use and video-editing/rendering faster etc.I have a budget of 500£.I will be playing games like cod 4 ,fallout,crysis etc.note intel or amd doesnt matter.Im just looking for a build that will get the job done really thats cos of the budget,im new to all of this so go easy.

I've noticed from other threads on here people say wait for the new Sandybridge chipset due out the start of next year as that uses a new socket.

I've been a Nvidia fan for the last few years for the simple fact every ATI i have owned has had some sort of problem ranging from overheating to game driver conflicts but that must just be me as lots of people love ATI.

I can't answer that as i'm biased towards the 460 being a Nvidia card so i would buy that regardless.
