It has SATAIII and USB3. The SSD is for the OS, which would be handy, though not a need, so you can take that out if you don't feel like you need it.

On-boards will be fine. You may aswell get 8GB of RAM as if you wanted to upgrade from 4GB you'd have to scrap the 2 x 2Gb you'd of had before (if you get what i mean, limited DIMMS.)

OR

Simular spec, just without SATAIII and USB 3. And a PSU which shouldn't be put under much strain, not that it will (unless you add a GPU).

I was wrong. It doesn't support SATAIII or USB3. The spec on the OCUK page is wrong. I figured it out, as it states the chipset as H77. Sort it out Mods. :)

Can you live without SataIII and USB3 support?

My friend has a STATII SSD and its still might quick. :)

If you do want those, this is a good board: http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MB-386-GI
