Spec me a cable router

Ok so im looking for a new cable router. currently with virgins 50mb package and might (cost/fund depending) upgrade to 100mb in the future SO. im looking to replace the current modem/Dlink DIR615 combo with a new router.

features i need are

gigabit ethernet ports
wireless N
good performance and decent firmware
decent price Budget of about 80 quid
and of course a cable router.

what sort of stuff should i be looking at?

any other recommendations? this is just a tad north of my budget. roughly 120 quid + :/

for example what does the WRT610n offer over the WRT320n

RT-N16 + tomato. Stock cpu 60% faster than the 610n, double the ram/flash (quadruple the 320n) with detachable antennas.

As nice as dd-wrt is, it's slower than tomato (fragmented development?) and it's qos is no where near as good.
 
I just got comcast and they gave me some random netgear router with proprietary firmware, and needless to say it sucks. So I've been looking at new routers and so far the RT-N16 is at the top of my list.
