Hi there, looking to replace my ageing router with a new one, the main issue at the moment is that the current router does not cover the whole house, so we are looking to purchase one that covers the whole house and is reliable :)
It will have quite a few devices using it, 2 computers, 2 xboxs, a playstaion 3, 2 iPhones and a laptop, at least 4 Ethernet ports are also required :)
We will be using it with Virgin Media's 10 Megabyte Cable. Budget is £50 ish.

Why not just buy a wireless access point and place that off an Ethernet cable somewhere closer to the blackspots?

Range isn't the only issue, we have constant issues with connection dropping and being slow and just generally unreliable.
and the two iPhones refuse to maintain a wi-fi connection to the router, every few hours they just disconnect and the router needs resetting, very frustrating issue.

Hmm - My parents would prefer to buy from a retail store, the price of that may tempt them though, thank you :)
EDIT: No they won't buy from online, they insist on it being from a retail store :( they are very stubborn on this, thanks though :)
