Spec me a Camera £40

Hello fellas,

My old man is looking for a cheap camera £30-40,Just to take on hols,We know it wont be anything special on this budget but as we know nothing about cameras what would you recommend in this price range?

Also is there any cameras now that have built in batteries & charge like a phone would by the socket,Or are they still AA batteries?

I expect something like that would be in the more expensive cameras though?

£30-£40 is probably a bit too low to get anything worthwhile (e.g. Phones these days are probably as good).

Upping the budget to £60 would get you:

which has a rechargeable battery as you mention, and should be pretty reasonable for the money.

Don't forget you need an SD Card as well

From what you have said,Hes decided as he also needs a new phone anyway hes going to use that money and put it towards a phone with a decent camera.
