I have a Canon EOS 1100 with a couple or so lenses, flash unit, battery grip spare batteries and looking for a reasonably priced bag to carry the the lot in.

Don't really want to spend a fortune as it will be used mainly for storage rather than carrying around.

Don't know if something like this would be OK and have enough space? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/DSLR-Came..._Camera_Cases_Bags_Covers&hash=item2a4920b826

Both to me look good bag for there price, but i choose this for my gear.

Now not everyone likes them, but i find it comfortable, cheap, well padded, and it can fit a lot of gear inside. I currently have. My DSLR, Bridge camera, Video camera, 3 memory cards, spare batterys for all, Lens brush cloths and blower, and a few cables. Still has room for more too.

Cheers for your reply but I am not really into the rucksack style bags.

Have a look at the Crumpler bags. I own both a Jackpack 4000 and a light delight 6000 and they are very well built, the 4000 has gone with me abroad several times and waking/ hiking with it in the UK and no signs of wear.

Will do thanks.

The Lowepro Event Messenger 150 DSLR Shoulder Bag was recommended in What Camera this month :

It's available for £27.99 at a few online retailers.

Like the look at this.

Any thoughts on this?

Looks a bit square so not sure if I'd find that annoying/comfortable.

Also that Lowepro I linked, thinking about it I'm not sure how that would fit your camera with a grip, maybe look at a bigger size.

I use a Retrospective 20 when I don't want to carry a backpack and it's perfect but quite expensive, although I have seen some 'as new' being sold for good prices.

I have the Lowepro Flipside 400-AW HERE and really rate it - fits load of kit, good adjustable storage, loads of pockets and pouches and some neat features

Got a couple of Lowepro bags, a 400AW rucksack and a shoulder bag, along with small camera pouches for just one camera - they're well made and durable.

Take a look at their bagfinder page to see what is available.

Thanks for that but it does not list the 1100D, not a major issue but what was more important it did not list a battery grip in accessories which I felt was strange.
I am awaiting the grip so will see how much difference it makes to the overall size before looking for a case.

Think I will have a wander up to John Lewis and get a hands on view of cases before deciding what to get, or at least get an idea of the size I will need.
