Hiya,
I'm looking for a decent camera. The approximate budget is £400- £500 or so, really depends on whats on offer.
I'm pretty sure I'm going to want a DSLR of some sort- I've played with cameras from around the £200 range or so, and they're just not right. Anyway, points I'm looking for (I admit I am a relative novice, just got clear ideas of what I want).
Anyway, thoughts much appreciated especially from other transport photographers- There are a whole load of other factors which I can't really describe

- Decent picture quality in low-light conditions (No flash!)
- Ability to adjust aparture speed- The primary use of the camera is going to be transport photography, & I want to be able to tweak for things going at speed
- Tripod mount
- Very high zoom levels (30x plus)- I assume I'd be after a dedicated lens for this sort of stuff.
- Wide-angle- Specialist lens again?
