Not more than £200.

I need a camera as I've realised my little girl is growing up too quick and I need a decent camera to capture her growing up.

Can anyone suggest me an easy to use camera possibly even an SLR with a bag im not too interested in a tripod.

You could get an older DSLR with kit lens secondhand for £200 at a push. If you're just taking snaps to preserve memories I'd argue you don't really need a DSLR though.

Plenty of compacts around that price range, but why not use your phone camera? My kids are great DSLR subjects when I want to do photography, but I use my phone camera much more... I always have it with me, it's light, quick, convenient and connected for when I want to share pics. Just a thought.

take a panasonic GF5 with a pancake lens 14mm F2.5.

or GF3 if budget limits.

wide enough angle, fairly large aperture for low light. and can grow-up as you demand more.

Would recommend the LX7, great camera, great lens, takes great portraits and it also has really nice movie mode.
