Lol... I did get a sense but posted anyway to be proactive. Will be helpful to someone else when they are looking for a car and stumble here.

This would be my suggestion too. My other drives one (62 plate 2.2 i-DTEC EX) she lives in deepest, darkest rural Herefordshire and the thing is a proper workhorse. Decent on motorways too, she drives up here regularly (M50 >M5 >M6) and it hasn't had an issue.

Yep, Honda is very good for reliability, probably amongst the best.
