Spec me a card, 4 monitors , windows xp

Hi Everyone,

Need a graphics card that will run 4 monitors on windows xp 32 bit.

can anyone suggest any good ones? (cheaper the better)

Also needs two DVI adapters on it.

was looking at MSI Radeon R7 260X OC 2048MB would this one work fine?

specifically needs to work 4 on windows xp, as the guy previously bought a quadro nvs 510 and it does not support 4 monitors on xp!

Windows XP doesn't support more than 2 monitors per graphic card.


And FYI is Windows XP EOL product since 2009. Which means is dead, and do not expect support from hardware vendors, drivers etc. Only companies who had purchased extended support, were able to use them until April 2014.

You would find it difficult to find anyone running WinXP and 4 screens.

Thanks for responses guys,

He previously had a quadro nvs 440 which ran 4 monitors on xp, but wanted to look for a newer card.

I'll drop Warsam a message and see what he thinks thanks for the suggestion Humbug!

if it does come to running two cards, we will just have to do that or convince to upgrade to windows 8
