Spec me a case ~£40

Hi,

My case is too big, it doesn't fit under my desk properly...obviously this is a problem. I'm looking for a new case (no PSU required) preferably black and silver but not a nessesity. And I'd like any fans in it to be quite if possible. The only thing I have o/ced is the graphics card, so a decent air flow would ne nice.

Currently I have full size tower case so possibly something midi tower size.

All for around £40

What do you think of the looks of the Antec Super Lanboy?

Yeah I saw that I did quite like the looks of it. The problem is that the computer is in my bedroom and I quite often leave it on overnight so I'm thinking LEDs are a bad idea..no matter how nice I think that case looks!

Can replace the fans with non LED ones.

Looks good, would go for akasa ambers myself.

Very good case, only the front fan has LEDs and you could easily just snip the wires going to the LEDs in order to disable them.

So the power going to the fan and the LED is seperate? i.e. can run the fan without the led?

Would it be possible to simply unplug the led so that I can use it when I want to? i..e at a lan?

Yeah, it has a small black and red set of wires running to the LEDs that has to be cut.

You would have to wire up a 2 pin connector (one male, one female) to each side of the cut wires. Bit small and would be annoying to do but perfectly possible.
