Hi, so I'm looking to get a new case for my PC. I'm looking to spend around £50, though obviously less is better, and have been almost set on the Antec 300. However, I really would like opinions from you on whether there is a better case for this money? I have been researching and reading lots of review, but there is obviously nothing better than the opinions of people who actually have the case. I have also let myself get out of the loop a little over the past few months, so I'm just asking if there is anything better than the 300 for the same or less money?

Thanks.

Got an Antec 100 for a friends build, absolutely brilliant! Lots of room.
Just one thing to worry is the lack of air filters.

I am currantly looking at the Zalman Z9 Plus Tower Case with Fan Controller - Black (£44.99)

Not sure if it is any good yet.

It's a good case for the money. I used one for a build recently and I was very pleased by the quality of the case as well as the noise levels and cooling performance. The side panel fan does make a buzzing noise at 100% speed but I connected it to a fan header on the motherboard and set it to not go above 60% and it's honestly the quietest system I've ever used.

Bear in mind that once you remove the PCI covers they can't be put back.

I'd throw in an NZXT Beta Evo with a Gentle Typhoon for exahust - was stunned by how great that case is for the money. Cable management is great, side panels are understandably thin but not flimsy and the case is pretty sturdy even with the slightly thinner steel construction (and is wonderfully light).

+1:D
