Spec me a case please :)

ok, well was going to hit the order button for the H70 and then thought, actually, will measure just to make sure, and glad i did :

the northbridge HSF is in the way so i dont think it will fit

i currently have GZ-X1 so with the SETTO 1024 being that little bit bigger do you think this would give me the room for better cooler fitments?

although the NZXT Gamma has top mounting fans

so would this be a better one to go for? or does OCUK have anything for ther £30-£50 that is big enough to fit something in with my mobo and ideally has the hole in the back to change cpu fan mounting brackets and has good cable management facilities.

pretty sure the Gamma is big enough, or a Xigmatek Midgard i've had both and they both comfortably house a titan fenrir ( is bigger )

would i have to mount the Rad to the top, or are they a bit wider so will fit on the rear fan bracket?
the problem im seeing with it being on the top, because its quite deep (2 fans and the rad) will it clear the ram?

the rad will fit both on the rear fan holes, the PSU's are mounted at the bottom in both cases but there is considerably more space up the top in the Midgard

ok kool, i honestly thought as i had a 120mm fan fitted on the rear it would fit in my case, but there is about a 2mm overlap from the fan and the NB HSF so no way it would fit

also, does the NZXT gamma have room to take most GFX cards?

ok, seen the Coolmaster HAF 912 Plus on OCUK. its about twice the price of the ones i have been looking at, but it is bigger (supports 200mm fans) and there seems to be a bigger gap between the rear outputs and the rear fan, so looks like a big case. anyone had any experience with these?

Not with a 912 but I have a 932 and it's a brilliant case. They're very sturdy and reliable, great for cooling and look nice in my opinion. 932's are slightly older though as the 912 came after so I'm guessing it's smaller and not quite designed to cool stuff as well (should be more than sufficient anyway) but have more modern design.

cheers, have made my mind up on this one, just need a cooler to go with it that will clear my ram and NB cooler.
