looking for a new case.
main thing I'm after is room for a 2x120 mm fan cooled rad inside.
hit list so far
antec 900
antec p182
coolermaster cm690 dominator
Akasa Eclipse 62

the idea of the psu on the bottom seems a good one so the rad can easily be fitted on the inside of the top, that said in my thermaltake skull it all squeezes in at the top...

also don't want a full tower ;)

You can do it in a cm690 but it requires some modding. Several people have done it and there are some good guides online, might be worth a look.

Depends on a few things really, if you're willing to modify the case then a Lian Li v1200+ has loads of space along the top although may be a bit expensive, same goes for the Silverstone TJ-07.

The Lian Li A16/A17 could fit a 120.2 at the front without modding afaik, as would many cases with only 5.25" bays (Original Stacker but that's a full tower).

The A16 will leave you with 1 Optical and One HD, it's damn tight, although I managed a PA120, shroud and two38mm Panaflo's, you have to drill out the bottom plate thing though...the A17 looks nicer imo. The P182's not great for WCing tbh, if you want it all internal that is.

antec 900
antec p182
Neither of those "nicely" fit a 240 rad in them without a fair bit of modification.

a Lian Li PC-7 can hold a Black Ice GTS 240 in the front of the roof and still give room for an average length PSU.

Nice, i have ordered the same case with a little help from the forum (was gonna go for the Thermaltake Shark).

Let us know how you get on (with pics if poss :D) as i am hoping to go the water route in the future.

well Ive got it and it's a lovely case.

It's about 2-3cms off being absolutely perfect:(
the psu is at the bottom, and from the top you can see an area that looks almost custom designed with a 2x120mm rad in mind - note the word almost! so I thought oh well it'll mount on the inside, but the mobo sits high against the top of the case so no room for it there, you could hack the top of the case and the top cover so it'll fit and would be very good there.

so atm I'm on air - my rad is quite thick, I'd like to find out if there are thinner ones about, and I don't really want it out the back.

so I may sell up/out! and get a decent air cooler instead :( (my extreme oc'ing days are over so air may be enough for me - just got to get used to it being a bit noisier and hotter :D

please don't be but off by this case - unless you want a huge tower twin 120mm fanned rads don't just go in.
And if done well it'd look fantastic, I just don't know if I can be bothered

and yes you could also remove almost all the bays and mount it at the front (as mentioned above) but then that would leave you with only two bays

I am also thinking of maybe just getting a single 120mm rad.....
