ok its been a long while since I looked at getting a case. Currently my main pc is housed in a painfully heavy and awkward cheiftek dragon and has been for many years. But time for a change!

Basically I have a few things I really want on top of peoples personal experiances.
* Has to have good cooling, no 80mm fans, only 120mm and above, minimum one front and back
* Need space for 4 x hds with one space between each to allow for cooling and airflow
*side mounted hardisks, so the cables face the side of the case and are a lot easier to get at
*would prefer aluminium as it is a lot lighter, but not essential

Right let the speccing commence!

You don't mention price, but the Lian Li V1000 ticks every single box. If you insist on a door, then the V1100.

The only issue may be if you need to use an extra long power supply like an Enermax Galaxy 1000 as that would meaning taking out one of the Hard Drive Bays. Here is what they look like:

I've had mine a couple of years now, and still look at it fondly. They're light and easy to work on. Nothing else (except perhaps a Silverstone Temjin TJ09) would tempt me away.

watercooling wont happen, budget was hoping under £100, but could maybe stretch to £150 if its really good.

hmm have to say I have been looking up the lianli and I really dont like the layout :( upside down mobo and psu layout putting access on the right side (facing) instea dof the usual left side. This would not only mean no one would see the insides in my room layout, but also it would be a lot harder to gain access to.
